Why Are We Fundraising?

Our goal to build a Splash Pad in the Town of Pictou was the brain child of our President, Megan. We knew when we approached the town, we had to do more than just ask them to build it, we had to prove to them that we were serious in our commitment to this project.

The town council was very receptive to our project but clear that they would be limited in what they could commit to financially. So we knew, to get this project started and completed, we had raise the funds with the help of many people including local businesses, organizations and residents.

In addition to having a financial goal that must to be met to commence, we are also dedicated to this community and making it the best it can be. Most of our fundraising events are partnerships with local businesses and artisans.

Our community spirit is what drives our activities and why, we believe, the townspeople are so keen to support us. We know we have a long road yet but we are extremely proud of our progress and the support we’ve received from the community at large. We sincerely thank you for your continued support.
